I wish I would have taken more detailed “before” pictures because this thing was rusty, falling apart and didn’t even pump air. The handle was sanded and coated with shellac. Then the pump tube was sanded down and clear coated. Then the base was sanded, filed and painted. Lastly, the brass piece that connects the hose and gauge was filed, sanded and buffed. I could have gone all the way and replaced the gauge and hose but they work fine and this was just for fun anyway.
