The Gran Fondo is a long ride (not a race) with options of 100, 53. or 32 miles. There were two things that surprised me this year: 1. It was pouring rain in San Diego and 2. People still rode! Most San Diegans are not accustomed to riding in the rain so it was really cool to see people still getting out there. All in all it was a great event and will probably be remembered for the weather in years to come.
