This is one of those rare bikes that took me years and years to find. It is a 1983 Mountain Goat Deluxe. It came to me in exactly this condition so it was a lucky find. The metallic gray paint is in really good shape too.

Mountain Goat was known for only making high end custom bikes out of Chico Ca but this was the best in his lineup. The top tube and down tub are made using tandem boom tubes also known as Phil tubes with a very elliptical shape. The Henry James fork crowns also got the rad goat head. The components on this bike are totally original.
