One of my all-time favorite cycling events is the Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour in Minnesota, which I have ridden three times. The second time, in 2007, we stopped in to visit my old Team Bridgestone teammate Gene Oberpriller at his bike shop / café / art studio called One On One Bicycle Studio in Minneapolis and he had these bicycles on consignment. We bought them on the spot and had them shipped out to California where they were overhauled by Velo Cult and now see regular use as errand-runners and urban adventurers. What classy, timeless, built-to-last machines!
